Vacation... All I ever wanted...
Okay so I let Orion talk me in to taking a week end off and heading for the clouds, litterally.
I wasnt expecting anything, because honestly I've never really been much for fancy stuff. When we go on family Vactions, we head for a resort full of cabins up in the high country. Quaint, and peaceful, but not the Ritz. So my eyeballs nearly hit the floor when I walk in and see this HUGE room like something out of a Sandales ad.
yes im a huge acrophobe.. so what do I do first? Go over to the blacony and stare out and gape.
Then I stop and take a look around the rest of the room.
There's a table in the middle that finally gets my attention, on it is a huge flower arrangement containing roses of every color of the rainbow and then some. I didn't even know rose's came in neon pink... I'm still in the process of gapeing when Orion finds the card and reads it.
"Have fun and enjoy your selves," the guys.
"Well now, you'd better go change," Orion tells me at this point.
I look at him like a moron, "uhh.. why?"
"Because we are going out to an opera with Darth and Kenya and then WE are going on a tour."
"Oh.. okay.."
SO i go looking for my suits. Guess what? No suits. Normaly I am not much of a dress pseron. Probally left overs from highschool where I admit , i was somewhat less than attractive. So I opted for dress suits, I have ever since. Someone had gone through my bags and gotten rid of every singel suit.
"RION!" I holler, "Where are my suits!!"
"Check the closet," is all i get for a reply.
So i poke my nose in and see what's there. what's there are some of the most beautiful evening gowns in my size i have ever laid eyes on.
"I'm not wearing these!" I try again.
"If you wanna go out you are," he tells me, "Come on you will look wonderful."
So says a guy that to get ready all he has to do is get out the polish. Grr.
I finally decide on a red one, spend another ten minuts curling and putting up m y hair. I hate that white streak, (yes i did try dye it wont work!)And finally put on some make up and head out.
I feel like a butter fly or something, I'm not much for this kind of thing.
Still I know Something must be up when I do come out and Orion's eyes get even bluer than normal.
"You need to wear red more often."
"I cant believe you did this, " I tell him.
Only to get a grin behind that mask. "Dont worry about it. you look fabulous."
A few moments later we walk out and there are the others waiting for us.
Kenya looks great, i feel like a fool.
"Stop being so insecure." Orion tells me. "You look GREAT."
All i can do is shake my head and get in to the transport as it comes. Hopfully i'll get more comfortable with this kinda clothes as it goes along. I have a feeling this is gonna happen a lot.

P.S. The show was awsome. and i DID have a lot of fun.

If it's any consolation, I'm not a dress kind of girl either. But hey, the opera was worth it, wasn't it?
I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation as much as we did. See you back on Earth!
