Mary-sue in the clouds(NOT)
This is Optimus recording in Rose's blog for the moment. She is occupied oggleing the view from our balcony.
I would like to take this entry to defend both Roseprincess1 as Well as Kenya Starflight against the title of "mary-sue".
As i understand it this type of character is a sterotypical, perfect little angel who never makes mistakes, never grows a personality, and needs her male to even tie her shoes.
Both of these girls are as far from this as possible, they are far from timid. Mary-sue's have never tried to highjack a star crusier or fling them self off of a dragon over boiling lava to get to the man they cared for.
Neither are they perfect, far from it. I cannot speak for my friend but I DO speak for my self when i say that perfection would be utterly BOREING. I love Rose for who she is.
And yes both of them needed saving, but that wasnt thier fault. Unfortunately the easiest way to get to a person is to hurt some one they love. It didnt have to be the girls, it could have been any number of people. If anything that proves they are just that much more real people, that they have weaknesses and need some one.
No they are not Mary-sue's.
They are extraordinary young women who love with all they are and give all they have. So Please give it a rest with the Mary-sue cracks. Its getting insulting.
As for what else is going on, I think Rose is enjoying her self despite her fussing.
We have several more days here, hopfully she will enjoy that too.

I wish you and Rose the best of luck in your relationship.
