Phone Calls and Kareoke... Hold on Blue eyes

I come around the corner and find her siting on her bed in the middle of something ear covered by the head set while the mouth peice pulled around do that she can talk to someone.
"I appriciate it Kat, I REALLY do, but the last thing i want is to get someone else invovled in this mess. Least of all you and Vin'"

I wait behind the curve of the door and listen to her talk.

"No no ofcourse I know the both of you can take care of your selves,"She pauses and rolls her eyes skyward, "YES espeically Vin."

She sighs and leans back against the head board.. "No, I do appriciate it though. I apprciate the offer. If the two of us ever need a place to hide..."

And then she smiles, "And Speaking of you and Vin, Kat, when are you two going to make it offical?"

And then she laughs more and grins more, "Seriously and don't you dare give me that malarky about the two of you being too different that's the biggest load of bull ive ever heard in my whole life. "

A huge torrent of fussing comes through the other end of the line and Rose laughs more and goes back to the converastion.

"You know if you WANTED too..."

Again more fussing erupts from the phone and Rose finally decides to give it a rest.

"Okay okay, Well you and Vinnie up there in New york stay outta trouble mrs. Assiant da." She pauses as someone asks her something, "Tell that over grown hair ball its for the Same reason you left your dad's law firm Katy..."She paused and laughed again. "No i dont suppose we would have. You take care you two.. "
She puts the phone bacck down and shuts it off..

"And what Pray tell was that about?"

Rose grins at me, "Hehe just me giveing Kat a hard time about her relationship, or complete and utter lack there of. I swear i dont think those to have even ever kissed.!"

"Well somtimes its harder for people to accept their feelings. I Mean look how long it took me and you, and Mel and Megs, and Kenya and Vader, and Keily and Snape to get things into shape half way passable realationships."

"I suppose, She stops and sopbers for a second, "you know, they offered to help, or let us come stay up there."

"and?"

"And I told them no," She shook her head, "I dont want any one else hurt cus i got them involved. "

I walk over and sit down behind her, she leans back and I put my arms around her.

"Listen, every one who is here is here of thier own free will. No one blames yo and you need to get over blameing your self."

Then i stand up and tug Rose into a standing position as well. "You ready?"

"Did they really bring it?"

"oh yes," i grab her and the two of us walk back down to where the living room has been turned, compliments of the junkions, into a kereoke bar. Right now as we come down Roddy is finishing up "where's the fire" From the movie the wraith and takes his bows before handing the mike off. Rose wanders into the kitchen for a soda and some ice and then returns find the next person perched there.

"Rion?" She blinks at me.

I grin and go throught eh list looking for severl songs finding one that i like


I find one and then turn up the music, watch a wave of emotions rush over my girls face and just enjoy the peace while we can.
