Family, specifically sisters...
Rose is getting ready for work at the moment so I'm going to post on her blog.
I have tried very hard to be respectful and compassionate to her human family, since i arrived here last year. They are her family and since I love her, i have them by extension. HEr parents are basically good, if slightly odd, and sometimes thoughtless people. Her extened family leaves a lot be desiered.
And then there is Martha.
That wretched woman who was the cause of her(rose) decideing that she was better off with out me all those years ago.
The woman wanted freedom from her family so badly, that she was willing to pay any price to get it.
The price she paid was My Poor sweet Rose's peace of mind. She has for the last decade or more been causing some kind of trouble.
Currently she is sans funding, living in a cutrate motel with 4 small children. Calling up here and asking both Rose and her parents to do soemthing about it. I WOULD dearly love to do something about it, but Rose wont let me. I may be an Autobot, but even we have limits as to what we will put up with.
Rose seems resigned that the girl will show with all of her progeny in tow. She dose? I am insisting Rose and all of us move to an apartment. I will not see Rose's collections mangeled or stand by again Idly as someone has the gall to ask this girl if her sister's children mean less to her than her collections. Never again.
Hopefully this will not develope into anything more than shouting matches over the phone lines. However the chance dose remain and I will not permit it.
I may be absconding with Rose in the near futuer if it gets any worse around here.
I hope she goes away and lets us have some peace.
Sadistic aliens, evil undead dictators, frezzing cold ice planets, all of that Rose can handle with out blinking. Her sister? Is the one thing shes never been able to fight. Or rather wont fight for the sake of her family.
This time its not her choice. This time Rose has someone to fight for her.

Tell Rose I'm sorry about her problems with her sister. Tell her she is free to contact me if she EVER needs anything, even if it's just to vent.

Ditto. Sorry Rose is having Sister-issues. :(
And as to Rose's collection... I take it her Sister's kids wanted to play with them? And when Rose objected to her items in her collection being possibly broken by little kids who don't know yet how to respect other's things, she was given the whole spiel of "what's more important, your collection or my kids?" from her Sister?
Yikes. Yeah, Sis. See how you'd like it if someone wanted their kids playing with your China. Your makeup. Your jewelry. Your *insert something important to you*?
Sis, respect Rose's space and things. And teach your kids to do so, as well. And teach them to ASK first before taking... I'm assuming some of that went on, too, here. Ghrrrrr.
Oh, please tell Rose that I've just finished the 5th of her Transformer/Angel stories on fanfiction. :)
They are very cute!
Especially liked how Angel handled Alyssa's parents. :) Ok, and especially liked Jack immobilizing Alyssa's parents. ;)
Thankfully, mine were trying, but never that bad. And they've mellowed quite a bit.
