Tears and Rants..

I guess that when your already up set about something the last thing you should go and do is to watch something that's sad as well. Stupid me... I'm still wondering what my problem was nearly a week after the fact.
First off there is the fact that, I DID NOT intend to go into that store to be harassed. No I only went into Borders that morning to pick up my nephew's copy of the newest Harry Potter novle. Me? I can take em or leave em, but the kid loves them so I went to get it for him. I picked one up for my self as well and grabbed a few of the TF comics that they had there as well as some books on ghosts for my collection. Then I stopped for a soda in the cafe and made my way out to the car, my head consequently burried in the book by a Miss Rule, that I had just shelled out my hard earned cash for. I was completely unawares that a pack of wierdos had assembled on the front steps of the book shop in the twenty minuts that I had been in there.
I took one step out of the front door and they lit on me. They started waving signs in my face and babbleing about how I was going to burn in hell for reading such things about witchery and Ghosts. They proceeded to pluck My Leslie Rule book out of my hands and brandish it around like it was some horrid thing that had crawled up out of the depths of the earth. Needless to say I was more than a lil hurt by all of this and more than a lil up set as i stood there and got abused by these nut jobs.
The crack about the going to hell was the last straw. I have had hundreds of people tell me that, specifically when they learn that I have ablities and gifts that "NORMAL" humans arent born with. So my brain's wierd a lil differently than the rest of the population's? That dosent mean I'm a bad person, does it? But I had to put up with these morons as they took mybooks and gave me the proverbial hard time. Thankfully I had someone with me that felt the same way about censor ship that I did. NOrmaly its Optimus that comes to my rescue. He's and he was doing a good job of keeping any one from seriously hurting me. But Megatron nearly went postal on them, its a good thing that he didnt have his cannon or there would have been a lot of dead protestors. He shoved them out of the way.. took my book back and pretty much cleard the path for me as Prime grabbed my arm and dragged me to the car.
Then I went home and read the stupid HP book.. Big mistake number 2. It had to be one of the most heart wrenching things that I have read since I got my paws on the novelization of Episode III. I set it aside and headed up to my room to do some thing , anything to cheer my self up. Big mistake number 3, what I picked off the shelf was The transformers Movie.
When Optimus finally came up stairs from acutally thanking megs, he found me in the midst of the sceen where he dies. Sitting there, wide eyed, crying and completely lost. I'm glad he came to me, took the dvd out and made me go out side and get some air.. it just really hurt me to much after the day and the book. I dunn why I went there but I was glad when they let me come to them for comfort.
All of the guys.. the cons included where really great. Its nice to know that they acutally do care. Still I think I'm going to avoid that book for a while till I feel better any how.
